On the 10th February 2019, almost 200 people coming together for the Great Compassionate Repentance Dharma function in conjunction with the Chinese New Year held at the Fo Guang Shan Melbourne. Superintendent Venerable Jue Min also shared a short video of Master Hsing Yun Happy Chinese New Year greeting.
This is followed by venerable giving a dharma talk on what is fortune. Normally, people prayed for wealth but wealth might not last forever. This can come from happiness, good health, contentment, faith of religious belief and gratitude. Venerable encouraged everyone to practice the act of generosity in giving and forming affinity with others. Lastly, the day ended with another short video featuring the lights and fireworks show for Chinese New Year celebration at the Fo Guang Shan Buddhist Memorial Centre, Taiwan.
